The AGM which would normally have been held in February 2021 has been postponed. The WCGBA Executive Governance board will announce a new date in due course.

Latest update from WCGBA CEO Trevor Clarke
Following an announcement on Friday by the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) attached to this email are revised guidelines updated in line with current guidance from the WAG and Bowls Wales. A revised poster for display will be forwarded shortly.
The major changes are that up to 30 people are now allowed at a Bowling Green at any one time and the ‘household’ restrictions have been dropped subject to strict continuance of social distancing.
It is worth reiterating that the role of the WCGBA in this matter can only be advisory and whilst we have attempted to write the guidelines to allow Clubs and Bowlers to maximise the opportunities to Bowl if they wish, in the safest manner possible, the final decision rests with you the Clubs, and your Committees will be best placed to assess what is right for your Club.
On a point of detail and for the avoidance of doubt, it should be noted that winners of any Open Competitions run this year who would in normal times have qualified for the WCGBA Champion of Champions will not do so this year because the competition will not be run.
Accordingly, the Guidelines are the maximum that we feel it is safe to consider for the present but if you feel that compliance at a lower level or indeed that you do not wish to open then that is rightly solely your decision.

2020 President Simon Walker elected
The President's badge of office was passed to Simon Walker of Flintshire by outgoing President Dave Mathias. Deputy President for 2020 is well known BCGBA champion Jack Hunt.
